I've had a good Christmas already and its not even here yet!!! My little sci0fi group decided to have a Christmas party tonight and there were gifts. They gave me a vacuum cleaner, which I was jokingly expecting. I was surprised to actually see it though. What made it worth it though was Katey gave me this really cool pin (its a family guy pin that has random quotes on it. It cracks me up!!!) and the Trans-Siberian Orcistra CD. So awesome!!!! Also, I made pie!!!

| Ok, that just made me cry. It's good though in a way. We will have another election in 2 years for congress and may be able to win a majority back then *hopes REALLY loudly*. And before anyone asks, no, i did not vote. I wish I did I really do but I did not even think about voting untill it was too late to regester for absintee voting. That might be a good thing in a way though. I know whats going on in Oklahoma but not in Texas where I would be voting. I'm in Tom DeLays old district so he is on the ballot except he did not run. There was another person that ran but was a write in and I did not even know about that. Hopefully I will get my residency changed to Oklahoma before the next election so I can vote then. Next one is the big one. If people see that the dem's can't be trusted they may give power back to us, but if the blame gets pointed to Bush like I know is going to happen (media and all) then we may louse that too. I just don't want that to happen.

| I don't think any of you have herd about this since it was a local event and even the people here did not really hear about it.
Last night I was in Spanish class and was geting revewed for the test
that is this Wensday. Because it was just revew we got out about an
hour or so early (it's like a 3hr class). As soon as I leave the
building I get a call from Katey. She asks me to pick her up. I'm fine
with doing that so I asked her if there was anywhere she really wanted
to go. She told me anywhere but here. Those four words really freeked
me out. I could hear alot of comotion in the background so I thought
something was really wrong. So after an adventure on the bus that takes
me to my car (a post in it's self...) I got to her complex. It was
weierd. There was a news van out side with cop cars all around.
Apperently a guy and his girlfriend lived there and had a fight. the
woman left but was stupid enouph to leave her 3 year old son behind.The
guy took the kid hostage and kept the place locked down for around four
hours. The reason katey called me was because she was dressed for
warmer teperatures and it was getting kinda cold out so she wanted to
go some where that was heated. By the time I got there the standoff was
over (it finished like 3 minits before I arived). One of the S.W.A.T.
people appoligised to us personally for holding us up. It was a wierd

| Hay! Twice in one month! Thats incredible! Anyway the reason I'm posting now is to talk about all the school shooting that have been going on. They have been happining every where but have now hit below the belt. I found out today that there was a shooting in Katy (my home town if you did not know). It was really just a suicide and on one else was hurt but that freeked me out a little. For those of you from Katy , the school was one of the new ones by cinco ranch.
